Krav Maga Classes

In the late 1940's the Israeli government tasked Imi Lichtenfield with developing a self-defense and hand-to-hand combat system for the Israeli military. Imi set about developing a practical, no nonsense system that could be used by people of all ages and abilities. He also developed training methods that helped people to develop the fighting instinct necessary to survive a real life violent street confrontation. The result was the system known as Krav Maga. Originally taught exclusively to the Israeli Defense Forces, Israeli Police, and Secret Service, Krav Maga ("Contact Combat" in Hebrew) became the official self-defense and fighting system for these agencies.

Krav Maga has been tested and refined through years of conflict. Its' battle tested techniques are easy to learn, retain, and perform under life threatening situations. Because of these attributes and its' unique training methods, Krav Maga has been adopted by and taught to many federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, including the F.B.I., U.S. Marshal Service, D.E.A., U.S. Secret Service, and the San Diego Police Department.
