determination and progress towards his goal of 180 lbs.
When Karl arrived at Brand X he weighed 290 pounds,
and began with Sit & Stands to a chair.
He now Hill Sprints, Squats fully, Climbs, presses,
box jumps etc. Amazing and motivating !
Coach Jeff works with Karl during a snatch workout
Despite having been run over by a truck and extensive shoulder reconstruction,
including metal plates, Karl still works through the ROM in the snatch
Karl is one of my favorites at Brand X although I've spoken to him only briefly. I saw him first in January when I was out, he was working hard at Cindy. Then there he was doing the TP workout when I came out in June, I was so inspired by him and got to stop and talk to him for a few minutes what a great "totally addicted" CrossFitter!
Congratulations, Karl! You and your story are indeed inspiring. I'll be rooting for you from the other side of the country.
Karl..you are the man!
Karl is AMAZING and determined.
Congratulations, my friend.
Fantastic work Karl. That type of dedication and effort shows the true character of a man. Keep up the great work
Karl is an inspiration! I have seen his progress first hand and have watched him shrink in size and gain strength and flexibility throughout his time at Brand X. Go Karl!!!
great job Karl, your determination inspires everyone and you deserve all of the success that you have had with CrossFit.
Karl is an insperation to watch. He believe he has no boundries, which is where the great coaching comes in. I have been having the pleasure of Karl in my early morning classes. He is starting to give some of the young guys some competition. Way to go Karl.
