Comments about the CrossFit Kids Certification held at Brand X May 17 and 18th

We went to the CF Kids cert. in Ramona, CA this past weekend. AMAZING! Can’t say enough. If you have any interest in training kids (yours or someone elses) or if you are currently training kids right now this is a must do cert. I learned so much about why CF Kids is not simply scaled down adult CF. Learned about programming, practical steps to putting together a class, motivational ideas, kids physiology and how it relates to CFK, nutritional information, kids and safety during exercise and regarding predatory issues, kids and weightlifting, kid-friendly-coaching cues and the list goes on and on. This is billed as a kids cert, but many of the cues and motivational ideas are going to be a huge part of my training with adults in the future. Last but not least, the Martins (including their kids) and the rest of the CFK staff are first class people who truly care about kids. Kids are their #1 priority. If you are training kids in CF and have not attended a kids cert you could be giving your clients so much more. Definitely consider it! If you want to know more feel free to email us with questions.
