OK people, i hesitated to ask this the first couple of times but now i need a solution. Did Annie on a pretty tough surface the other day and still have a large abrasion over sacrum/coccyx area which is pretty limiting now. this invariably seems to happen during high rep sit ups. I have never heard anyone else mention it. Does anyone have a slolution? I have used different mats before. I am wondering if “bicycle type” shorts would be the answer….acting like a second skin.
thanks
lol…looking for an easier solution then putting talc or creme on. I can’t be the only one with this problem..
That’s what he’s saying, it’s been discussed before.
Search for posts with “monkey butt” in them and look for a post by me with “butt lube” in it.
That should turn up most of them.

i actually bought these “under armour” compression heat gear shorts in lieu of underwear. I was hoping that they would eliminate any chafing. didn’t totally work but it helped doing yesterdays wod which included 90 abmats. need to also try the powder with the shorts….literally a pain in the ass!
under armour plus yoga mat plus anti-monkey-butt powder works pretty well, but I haven’t found anything that totally gets rid of it when we go above 100 situps. That’s one reason I like the GHD. No monkey butt. There are other reasons I dislike the GHD…

the last two times i got it the common denominator was “no mat”....both times on hard gym rubber floors.
