Am I finishing the SDHP with a PJ by pushing the barbell over my head or am I doing all the different set coundts for the SDHP and then doing them all over again for the PJ?
ok, so i got stared with the wod, planning to do puppy reps at pack weight. ghot through the first 2 sets, but at the end of both of the SDHP sets, the last few reps were giving me pain in my kinda hip/pelvis kinda area , just above the groin on the right side. weird sensation, felt almost like a burn. at first i thought it was my clothing rubbing/pinching me, so i adjusted them and continued but it got worse to the point where i thought it best to stop.
any suggestions as to what the problem could have been? the pain was kinda in the crease between thigh and stomach from near the top of the hip/pelvic bone, to probably halfway between that and the groin.
i’ve done SDHP’s before as sub for rows, slightly lighter, but not much, at 45lb instead of 55, but never had this then.

Thank you,

therook, if you’re not sure about a WOD, it’s always a good idea to take a look at the WOD on the main site, there’s very often a video demo of the WOD on there. in this case, they are separate exercises, so do the sumo’s first, then the push-jerks, 21 of each, then 18 of each etc…

The push-jerk gave me the most trouble.
I had to break the 12 and 9 series.
I am rather pleased with this new beginning
after almost four weeks of rest.
WOD
21-18-15-12-9-6 and 3 rep rounds of
25kg SDHP
25kg Push & Jerk
Time: 12:22.5
This WOD was fun as hell! One of the few times me and jr_edelman can do a workout at the same time. That was really a lot of fun. Time to start making our own gym .
