I’d like to see you step over the weight/kb first.  It should be between your feet when you pick it up.

It also looks like you’re not keeping your back in extension (lower back rounding at the bottom of the swing).  But I’m willing to be corrected on that.

I think Kempie has said he teaches deadlift before he teaches kb swings for this reason.

I’ve heard Coach B say in a video that the hip drive for the clean (more up/down or dip/drive) is different than the hip drive for the kettlebell swing (more back/front or violent closing of the hips). So from that standpoint, I question the validity of making a direct correlative between KB swing form and Clean form.

That aside, here are some things I noticed on your KB swing. Bear in mind I am not a coach, and these are just my personal observations. A good coach could give you cues to fix these things.

Great thanks, do you mind if I use that evaluation on my blog? I will work this also and replay in about a week.

Someone’s asking permission before plagiarising?
It’s not a first, but it’s very very rare.

Carry on with behaviour like that and I’ll be forced to kick your butt out of here. grin

Actually it’s more of a novelty that someone’s taking stuff from here.
