PainStorm this month had the biggest turn out yet for our wee facility, 15 people taking part.

We had a great day then a BBQ back at my house with much beer and burgers!

Jax found a site that you can make those “Inspirational” posters ..this is one of my guys after PainStorm

I’ve never seen a crying man look so beautiful! Oh, he’s not crying? I love CrossFit… makes grown men LOOK like they’re crying… because, real men don’t really.

I manged to get some new kit this week from a local high school that is being demolished. I got a vaulting horse that is in sections, a set of ropes on a track system, a set of pommel horse handles attached toa board and also a set of wall bars.

I was wondering if anyone new of exercises that I can do or get my crew to do using the wall bars? All I can remeber using them for at school ( many years ago) was to climb up!

Here are some pics

And I mnaged to get it all for nothing. I have worked it out to be aound £800 - £1000

Davie looked at the link but could not make out the wall bars you described.  There was a piece done in Colorado last year by one of the coaches on some resistance band stuff with bars on the wall- not sure if that is what you are looking for…
By the way a big Congratulations for all that you and Jax have created !

Just got back from teh Inverness Highland games. this is the first games I have been to watch and it was great. we tookloads of pictures which I have posted here

http://s15.invisionfree.com/CrossFit/index.php?showtopic=377&hl;=

and here

http://www.crossfitcentralscotlandphotos.blogspot.com/

The gym me and Jax and our friend Julie went to for a workout had a record board with things like how many bodyweight deadlifts, farmers walk for distance, back squats etc and I noticed they had a pull up record. It was 23.

It is now 35 but the bodybuilders that were watching were moaning and trying to coach me on how I “..should keep my body still to isolate my lats”
