Actually, I am at a loss as to how to deal with this.  Many kids today act with impunity.  They know you can’t touch them, they know that their parents won’t punish them in any meaningful way, they know the schools will always make excuses for their behavior.  So basically you have an immature person with an unformed set of morals and vlaues who has no checks on their behavior.  Kind of reminds me of “The Lord of the Flies”.  I know this simplifies the problem but next time I say just tell the kid you aren’t going to hit him, then pick him up turn him over your knee and spank him.  Well, I know it can’t happen but it sure would be funny.

I will never again walk down the middle of the road like I own it. And further more, I am sorry if I’ve ever done it before.

This is not kids in the street but another thing that bugs me when driving. People whom have no clue as to where they want to go. Example: Saturday afternoon while driving my wife, Michael and Connor to lunch from Magic Mountain there was a nice new expensive German convertable that was confused as to where he was going, or where the gas pedal was not sure which. He had his blinker on to change lanes that is fine however while he is trying to do this he is stepping on the brakes. I could tell that he wanted over to the left turn lane so I slowed to let him go then he did the stop and fake go thing. I ended up coming to a complete stop while confused man figured out what to do. He did finally go in front of me and as I passed I could not help but express my feelings for his supurb driving skills, I rolled down the window and as we passed I let him know that he was a “DODOHEAD!” and calmly kept driving. Now the look upon the female passengers face was the best. I am sure that being called a DODOHEAD was the last thing they expected for that brilliant piece of drivving.

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise for what Lucky will do to me next.
I once droped a phone from 30ft in the air, it did not work after that. Who’s next?

uh, tyler

lol no offense but you need a coma after my wife and michael. looks kind of funny right now ha ha.  i got to talk to a city cop at class today and he said that in reference to the episode with the phone and pictures of the pomp pomp girls it was concidered sexual battery. then when they became abusive and loud it was a 415 civil disturbance and making a citizens arrest was definitely in line whether you saw the incident or not. then you inform the child you made the arrest and he will wait for the officers to come or you can restrain him preferrably on the ground and take away his modus operendum (spelling) namely his phone. i would from past experience make sure you have at least one adult as a witness. the girls can press charges as well. if the parent gets involved rather than esculate the situation let the the the child eh hem go and keep the evidence. it may get loud and ugly but you are in the right and on the side of the law. and you got a really expensive ,i hope, phone. jeff is right, there is soooo many jerks that have really crappy parents if you want to call them that, you cant save the world but where it comes to the safety of others some one must do something sometimes. another thing is to talk to the pop warner governing committee to set up a parent watch patrol to help with these situations. im sure this isnt the first time theres been problems, probably worse just not reported. hey red, instead of a bar fight, go open a can of heiny whoopen on these morons. sic em girl) hey great idea adults hire the minors at b-x as body gaurds so when your confronted with these minors turn them loose. dawg fight, news at 5.

my dearest dale,

i am responding to your post early on in this thread wherein you said that i drive (ride?) a tricycle. just wondering what you meant by that. since we all know that i drive a very lovely vehicle that epitomizes the coolness that is me (well, so far the only compliments i have gotten have come from those over age 75….) awww man i think a tricycle would be a step up.

Here is my two cents worth…

Don’t hit the kids in the street, it will make a mess.

Trust me on this one
