Intended to do all 8 rounds, but pullups slowed me down so much I was almost rested by the time I got to the double unders. Everything else I rolled nonstop. Pullups in rounds 5 and 6 were 2 sets of 2 and 8 singles. Round 1 was about 2 min., round 6 was about 5 min. Is it better to keep moving or go ahead and gut it out? Maybe max reps and move on or switch to using a band? Insight anyone?
Hard to say…
If I only have ONE exercise in the group that’s slowing me down, I usually try and get through it. Some folks like the band for when you slow down. I prefer to try and stay away from hitting muscular failure. That means dropping off the bar 1 or 2 reps before you know you’re gonna die. Shake off, hop back up.
I wouldn’t worry about this one too much. If it happens EVERY wod, then lets reevaluate. But I bet next time this comes up you’ll hit 3-4 then sets of two…then again later 4-5 sets of three…

Thanks, I guess I’ll keep doing as I do. Maybe I’ll use a band the next time I break down to singles and still have a couple rounds left.
