P111015 Downscaled Pack “Squat clean, Kettlebell swings”:
5 RFT
7x60# Squat clean
14x25# KB swings

Been looking forward to this one for a while. Knew it was going to slay me, so I tried to be a bit careful with the scaling. Still hit me hard enough that I managed to get chafing on the inside of my elbow??

It is actually the last name of the man who pioneered this particular type of interval training ..... Dr. Izumi Tabata. But I do like your interpretation better!

“Tabata Fight Gone Bad”
Complete 40 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest. Perform 8 consecutive intervals of each of the following exercises:
Wall-ball 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps) (subbed 16lb ball - heaviest available)
Sumo deadlift high-pull 75 pounds (Reps) (subbed 70lbs)
Box Jump 20” box (Reps)
Push-press 75 pounds (Reps) (subbed 70lbs)
Row (Calories)
There is no additional rest between exercises.
Each exercise is scored by the weakest number of reps (calories on the rower) in each of the eight intervals. The score is the total of the scores from the five stations.
9-7-7-7-10 = 40
Probably took 30 seconds to get over and into the rower.
