Decided to tow the kiddo to the park today, so I picked a missed workout that I could do there.

Did 111016
WU:  Bike 2 mi (to park, with kid behind in trailer)

3 rounds of:
200m
10 pullups (assisted)
200m
10 pushups
200m
20 situps
200m
20 squats

Didn’t have a stopwatch, just regular old analog one, so my closest time is 24 min.

2mi bike back home!

Drug the husband along for this one, other than him doing 15 pullups (unassisted until last set) and pushups each time, I totally kicked his butt, awesome!

JME. - 01 November 2011 11:52 AM

Boy does a 15lb rubberized ball seem easy after my 27lb home-made sand-filled ball!

Voted, twice.

That’s not a wallball, that’s an Atlas stone. smile

LOL, that’s all I’ve ever know since that what JME made for me when I first started doing CrossFit. On the plus side, when you drop it after your last throw, the ‘thunk’ it makes when it hits the ground it very satisfying.

Puppies:
Three rounds for time of:
45 pound Overhead squat, 10 reps
10 Jumping or Beginner Pull-ups
45 pound Split-jerk, 10 reps
10 Knees to elbows
45 pound Hang clean, 10 reps
10 Back extensions

Time: 20:53

Pullups still my weak area. I bet I could’ve shaved 5 minutes if I’d been quicker on cranking through the pullups. I upped the weight on the exercises, made it a bit more challenging. So far, the puppy range is usually light for me, unless I’m doing pullups. wink Or muscle-ups for that matter.
