But no amount of CrossFit can prepare you for the 10,000 volt shocks at the end. That. F’ing. Sucked.

They tazed you bro?

wink

Seriously, WTH, they shock you at the end? The was an adventure race in KC this summer, warrior dash or something, a few people died from heat exhaustion, other than that it looked like fun. Might give it a try next year.

Seriously. Here’s a picture of it:

All of the dangling yellow wires are charged. Some more than others. I just happened to get stuck under one that had more juice than the others. 3 times I hit one and momentarily blacked out. It was like someone hit a reset button in my brain.

It was no surprise. Everyone knew about the obstacle when they signed up. I just underestimated the ouch factor grin

Was it worth it? Well, on the other side was the finish line and BEER. So I’d have to say yes.

Did it suck? Big time.

Would I do it again? HELL YES.

The whole event was so well put together and fun that it was worth a little eletrocution. I know this probably sounds crazy but pushing for a sub 5:00 Fran hurts more.

Seriously.
