BUY-IN:  3×10 CFWU (no sit-ups or back ext.)

WOD:  22:30, as Rx’d
7:21, 7:46, 7:22

Last time:  20:30 as Rx’d

CASH-OUT:  Walk 143m while stretching

Yes, the numbers seem odd.  The track is 1/7 of a km, so I ran 6 laps to approximate 800m.  Regardless, I think I was a bit slower than last time, even with the extra 57m per round.  Back extensions were usually broken 25-15-10, but my last round, I managed 30-20.  I was doing them off a 20″ box with my feet hooked into a bench.  Sit-ups were the real killer here (real surprise too!).  Will have to improve on those.  It looks like I’ll be Weekend CrossFitter for a while until the baby gets a little bit older and less needy.

Turkey Challenge at MBS Crossfit

Event 1
3:00 to get 1 RM Barbell Turkish Get-up (85#)
2:00 Handstand Walk (36-ft)
1:00 Double-unders (82)

Event 2
3 minute AMRAP of:
Burpee + 5.5-ft Wall Climb (up and over)
Result: 28 reps (side note, Matt Chan was also a competitor and smoked this with 39 reps!)

Event 3
For time:
50 Plate Ground to Overhead, 45#
60 Hand Release Push-up
70 Squat
1,200m Run with 45# Plate Carry
Time: 17:50

Event 4
9 minute AMRAP of:
3 Deadlift, Fat Bar, Overhand Grip, 165#
1 Rope Climb
6 Deadlift
1 Rope Climb
9 Deadlift
1 Rope Climb
etc., continue adding 3 Deadlift each round
Result: 18 Deadlift, but missed the final Rope Climb

Dude, that looks like an AWESOME day at MBS CrossFit!  How did you fare overall?  And nice one with 36ft of handstand walk!  clap
