WOD 110219
CFT:
Press 134 PR,
DL 317 PR,
Squat 242 =PR
Total: 693

Only small PRs but better than my last CFT where I went backwards. Squat was ugly - the slowest I’ve ever come out of a squat and I lost the lumbar curve - I felt a small strain but no pain.

“CrossFit Total”

Back squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep

Post total to comments.

BS - 255
SP - 135
DL - 315 (PR)

Total: 705

Should have tried heavier in SP.  BS had a no rep 1st attempt at 255 (didn’t get deep enough).  DL felt good.

Pack +
For time:
Run 800 meters
75 Push-ups
45k Snatch, 10 reps

mis read the scaling and thought it was 95lb not 75lb. Meant I split the snatches into 2x5 rather than doing 10 straight. Not a huge issue - the push ups were the real problem (chest to ground and lifting hands). I ended up breaking these down to sets of 5.

AM:

Warm Up:  Stretching, Recon Ron Over The Top Pull Up Program, Step 9

WOD:

Dumbbell Bench press work, 5 x 5
(total weight shown)
1 - 50 lbs
2 - 70 lbs
3 - 80 lbs
4 - 90 lbs
5 - 100 lbs - F on last 2 with my left arm

Not the highest of all weights but I’m happy as, honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever sat down and benched in my life.  This is a good place to start and I can only go higher!

Looking forward to the 10th day of CrossFit later tonight…

cfwu +10 min bike and stretching

1000 m run
50 push ups
95# snatch

Time 12:54

I really, really wanted to do 100 pushups and broke it down into sets but fatigue crept in pretty quickly.  This is my first WOD of the week with Christmas and all.  Disappointing.
