This might be a stupid question, but are the deadlifts with one dumbbell or two?

ROOKHOE - 29 December 2011 09:51 PM

This might be a stupid question, but are the deadlifts with one dumbbell or two?

Main page demo video shows there are two dumbbells for DL. Quess whit one dumbbell it would have been sumo-DL.
BTW, they really pick up speed in the demo video at around 2.30!  grin
14 rounds of this one is awesome! That is 140 pullups, 15120# (or 6873kg) of push presses! 10500# (or 4773kg) of DL! In 20 minutes he “moved” over 11 tons of weight!

Run, pushups, snatches

Hybrid

Run 1000 m
50 pushups
10 30 kg snatches

12:29

Pushups were very weak—started with sets of 5, and was doing singles after 30. Something to work on in 2012….

Ricky

Wu: F & J, 2 x 10 back extension, OHS (stick), dips. 1 round of toady’s wod

Skill/strength: None, short on time

Wod AMRAP 20
10 pullup—-> sub under-the-bar row (feet 45 cm up, head lower than feets at starting position)
5 dumbbell DL, 24,5kg
8 push press 40kg
9 rounds+10under-bar+5DL (at 19:53)

Co: Stretch

Just back from it. Had a go at it during lunch, so short on time. In the gym at work the pullup-bar had come down from the wall (just hope no-one was on it when that happened). Therefore the sub under-bar.
