Congratulations to Sifu Jeff, Sifu Dan, Instr Jim, Instr Connor and
LOL Just Jason, on your certifications at the CrossPit Seminar, and for
putting up a good showing for Brand X.

Shameless plug for my son.
Connor was certified despite the fact that John Hackleman does not certify kids.  This time he made an exception.  Connor made a good impression, worked hard and earned respect from a very well respected man.

Congratulations to all. Am I correct in thinking you all are among the first in the world to achieve this certification?

Connor,
Do you get tired of everyone being so impressed with you? It’s never ho-hum to us. You are an outstanding person. It is your attitude as much as your effort that gains you these accolades. Congratulations on such a unique and wonderful achievement.

I bet it was loads of fun. Congratulations!

I’m not surprised, Connor, you are exceptional, no doubt about it.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Background for some:

John Hackelman is The current UFC light heaveyweight champion Chuck Liddell’s trainer.  The CrossPit seminar was the infusion of the Pit fighting style and the CrossFit training methodology.  Yes we are the first and will be the first outside the Pit to run these classes.

We were called late Friday afternoon and told that Connor was to young to be certified.  Connor handled it like a man.  Went and did his best and earned the respect he was shown.

I see there will be another CrossPit seminar at CF San Diego in August.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to resist signing up.
