We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Note to self…CrossFit or CrossPit. NOT both.
Seriously though, THANK you Jason for all of the encouragement to the Eens (Aileen, Arlene) when we thought we couldn’t go on!!! YOU ROCK.

If you were around BX a couple years ago our kickboxing class looked just like this. It’s the kind of class Ricky and Jason “grew up” on. As Ricky says “We’re going back to our roots.” Let the CrossFit people know how much you liked the class! Jason did a good job.

Yea, when I started kickboxing four years ago, I couldn’t walk up stairs for a week. It was a butt kicker too. I’m glad it’s going back that way away.
I’m sure Jason will do you proud Jeff. Congrats to all.

My knuckles were all the talk this week. A few scabs and a couple bruises and people are suddenly very concerned about a 40 year old lady.
Arlene’s buddies though gave me more credit. They asked her “Does she fight?” “Why?” “Did you see her knuckles!?”
Yay for crosspit.
Remind me to put on my gloves when I walk in tomorrow, A!

Another great class tonight. I had a blast with the take downs. Can’t get enough of the ground work.

If I miss CrossPit again, I am going to quit carpooling on Monday. Grrr.
Looked like a killer workout. At least I got to work on the skills a little.

FUN FUN FUN.
Struggled through the mechanics of it at the end, my legs were still kind of jello-ish after the 5K. But…I think I GET it. Ricky Martin (sorry! He just looks like Ricky Martin!) was SO helpful, talking us through what we were supposed to be doing.
Need to practice the falling down appropriately thing.
FUUUUUUN.
