I will be there.
I keep meaning to come back to sparring but haven’t managed my time well this month. :(

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

May i take this opportunity to say that the time Rach and I attended the grappling seminar as part of our honeymoon and learnt to choke each other out is still cause for much merriment amongst our families.
I used it the other night when i wanted a beer. Rach said it wasn’t paleo…....she woke up thinking she’d fallen asleep on the sofa.
“Yes love…..you fell asleep…...... “

In the seminar we will cover too many techniques to be retained in such a short period of time. To assist you in your retention, I have put together this review guide.
The document is password protected, the password will be distributed at the seminar.
Please view this handout as a gift to those who attended, and is intended to be a refresher course, it is not a substitute for qualified instruction.

Yes! Excellent seminar. Thanks Darby and Josh and of course Mikki and Jeff for bringing the RockPile to Brand X!
Someday I will be able to think one step at a time and not get it all jumbled up in my head when I am laying on my back. This was a refresher from earlier stuff at Darby’s and I still got all confused! grrr.
I learned to use a safe word with Gerrie…“cooperative!” LOL. Gonna be some nice bruises on my my biceps tomorrow.

Darby: Thank you so much. Great class! Chuck and I are good friends and that is what he called taking it easy. Now you know why we have no enemies!

He was just a man doing a job. A job whose primary attribute was self-restraint and self-composure, not for his own sake, but for those whom he lead by example. A job whose objective could be boiled down to the single understatement, as he did at the Hot Gates on the morning he died, of performing the commonplace under uncommonplace conditions.
