Someone had a good substitute for back extensions if you are doing this away from a gym: “Supermans”

We do those in our abs workouts on Tuesday sometimes. I’ll see if I can find the description on Crossfit.com

Lie down on the floor, arms extended palms down. Lift your arms, head chest thighs, and lower legs off the floor as high as you can. Rinse. Repeat

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Did the workout with my Gym buddy, Aja, 39 minutes

Runs were 6 lengths of our indoor raquetball court - probably too short.

Squats unbroken until round three, knee pushups broken at 20/15/10/5, Situps unbroken until round 3.

First time doing back extensions - first round 40/10, round 2 and 3 broken into sets of 25.

ABORT, ABORT
LOOKED OKAY ON PAPER MY ***!  I have finally begun to see the light Jeff talks about.  White blocks out everything else….I will try to not look at the sun so much while doing sit ups, maybe this will help.  Oh by the way my time was 47:52, just tried to survive…

He was just a man doing a job.  A job whose primary attribute was self-restraint and self-composure, not for his own sake, but for those whom he lead by example.  A job whose objective could be boiled down to the single understatement, as he did at the Hot Gates on the morning he died, of performing the commonplace under uncommonplace conditions.
