Posting is one option to feel “involved”, another is checking out the CFKids Magazine.  Its filled with great shots of kids doing the WODs (times sometimes included), has new WODs every month, and just great information in general.  This month’s seemed to be even more packed than usual… kudos to whole publication team!!!

I wasnt sure where to post this, and maybe i missed the answer..  At what age do kids start responing to crossfit kids?  I have a 3 year old, he was going to gymnastics, but, they couldn’t hold his interest so i’ve stopped taking him.  I plan on trying again in 6 months or so.  He is very active (running, jumping off furniture and picnic tables and such), but the gymnastic place was very unstructured and he only wanted to play with the toys they had there.

Our CrossFit Kids Preschool class starts at 3.  Do you have a subscription to the CrossFit Kids magazine?  The structure of the preschool class is brilliant.  Debbie, DD on our forum, has done a spectacular job creating this class.  For the last year we have printed a class in each of the CFK mags.

Hi everyone,

I have a special question. As I wrote down into my introduction in the “Cheers” topic, I’m 17 and I’d like to start CrossFit.
But I’m not sure, what kind of programming should I follow. I consider making my training plan, but I don’t know exactly, what’s the most important thing that I should concentrate on now.

I’d like to acquire the basics of Olympic weightlifting, but I’d like to do the WODs and MetCons too. Is it at my age possible?
I’m thinking of working on the weightlifting in a weightlifting club twice a week and parallel with this doing the bodyweight exercises or WODs also twice a week. But I don’t know whether this is an effective plan?

Please help me to give ideas to do my training plan! Any advice would be appreciated! smile

Thanks in advance,
Balázs

Edit: My goals are being a bit stronger and simply increasing my overall fitness level.
