Yee haw! Let’s see if I can break 150 today! I haven’t tried a max deadlift in a while.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

I did two rounds of the CF warmup sans back extensions…

115 x3

115 x2
125 x2
125 x2

130 x1
135 Fail
135 x1
140 Fail
140 x1
140 x1
145 fail
145 x1 PR!

*The first 2 failures are because it’s hard to concentrate with Bradley chattering at me. Amazing how much concentration it takes to lift max weight….

Well I was not blessed with Fight gone Bad this afternoon, DANGIT. I did however get the arm killing fun of

20 bench press #135
20 dead lifts #185
3 rounds.

That was a real test of my back. It took me a while to finish the last set of dead lifts and tookof hours for the numbness in my back to go away, but I think I am far better than a couple weeks ago.

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise for what Lucky will do to me next.
I once droped a phone from 30ft in the air, it did not work after that. Who’s next?

Man… I couldn’t stay, but I would have loved to do some Bench presses. I haven’t done any since three bars of death.
