Don’t feel like doing cleans today.  I’m going to do a modified Mike Burgener workout:
21 pull ups with 16 kg kettlebell attatched
21 front sqts with 90 lbs (Mike rec. back sqts)
21 push press with 90 lbs (Mike rec. military press)
21 plate sit ups—take 10 kg plate sqt down, lay down, throw plate without letting go….stand up!! repeat.
18, 15, 12, 9, 6, 3

Still time to sign up for Mike’s clinic, Red, Jason , Rickey, Amaryliss, not naming names though.

Speaking of Ricky & Jason:

This replaces my WOD today. You tell me if it needs to go in confessional…

“Kill Laura” - sortof a baby fight gone mad.

6 (or was it 7??) rounds of 30 seconds each
medecine ball pushups (LRC)
bench dips
8lb db thrusters
pool sprints
bag work

After four rounds I was ready for pukie. I took 20 seconds on round 5 to get from pool to bag.

Then some drills and skills. Went home wiped out.

Then I did some “broomstick clean and Jerks” at home after I put Bradley to bed.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

smile Hey as long as they don’t tell me I have to be quiet (You know “#%&$*”) while I’m doing it….I won’t die. There some points in there where I had to rest…I heard about it.

I think Jason is right, “Direct Supervision” makes it harder.

TODAY IS A REST DAY.

I don’t know Sifu.. that clinic is quite pricey, and me, being, well, me, I’m not exactly rolling in the dough here. You do want your Christmas presant this year, don’ you?

Oh yea, another reason… it’s friggin’ CROSSFIT! That stuff kills me! Not sure I can hack an all day-er.

So true! Yea, all the cool kids are doing it. Though I’m not sure that’s ever a good enough reason to do anything, and I’m not sure you want to advocate that Sifu.

Side bar - I bet a lot of really good looking buff guys will be there… maybe I could round up so money…
