Thanks a lot for this one Kempie.  I felt bad for missing the 10k earlier this week, so I opted for this one.

A few of us did this one.

Temp: It was well over 95..

Me: 8 Rounds + 200 M Run
The top time today was one of my guys at 8 Rounds+200M+ 10 PullUps.

Good one!

Just thought I would update this thread and let everyone know how the workouts are going…

Our gym has expanded.  Not in area, but in quality.  What started off as a crappy dirt patch with the equipment listed in the first post has grown to include much more.  We now have more dumbbells, a platform for jump ropes, bumper style plates (for outside use), and a few HUGE tires for jumps and tosses.  (Two big tires, and 1 small tire is our 42in” monster).

So we’re able to do almost every WOD workout as Rx’d, and the mainpage WOD is programming I am sticking to.  So far it’s working great.  Whenever we have extra energy, or can’t do a workout (due to equipment), I come back here and pick up a “goody”.

I recently put up a small wooden sign that says, “Camp Frosty - Crossfit Hit”.  This was like a magnet!.  Since the sign was put up, it seems people will only “Crossfit” in the outdoor gym.  The community is growing.  People are seeing the results and they are flocking!.

The funny thing is… Crossfit seems to be attracting more of the senior enlisted and officers.  They seem to “get it”.  The younger guys… not so much so.

I will try to keep you guys updated from Camp Frosty!
Thanks!

Go Gonzo. The younger guys don’t have the “life experience” we do, but you can show them the way. A new generation of CrossFitters. Can’t wait until you come home. Fun times await you.  cool grin
