My husband got we a “WiiFit” for x-mas and said “now you don’t have to go to the gym anymore”. Maybe I can give it to charity or something. I wish I would have a least got a Vaccum cleaner or something useful.

I can’t WAIT to tackle this WOD. Husband is pissed I am insisting to still go to the gym.

Pack:
Complete as many rounds as possible 20 minutes of:
65 pound Thruster, 5 reps
65 pound Hang Powercleans, 7 reps
65 pound Sumo Deadlift High-pull, 10 reps

9 Rounds in 18:37

Did 6 rounds in 10:45, then during the 7th round got very lightheaded.  Took a minute break, then slowed things down. Stopped after 9 rounds wanting to be safe.  I guess 9 days off with only some light cardio and virtually no sleep in the last 2 days has caught up with me.  Good to be back though.

Went for puppies, but AMRAP in 20 mins.

10 rounds, finishing my last sumo as the buzzer went off.

Not too good, but just getting back into CF after a couple of months, so I guess it’s all progress!

ANGIE (two days behind):

WU- Treadmill for 0.5 miles at LV 8.5, IN 0.5

Pullups- 10-10; 10-10 (#3 assist); 10-10 (#4 assist); 10-10-10-10 (#5 assist)
Pushups- 10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10; 10-10 (on knuckles)
Situps (unanchored)- 10 times 10
Air squats- 10 times 10

22’59”  lost approximately 1’30” because of people jumping in on the machine.  Not cool.

CD- Treadmill for 0.5 miles at LV 8.5, IN 0.0

IS SPLITTING ANGIE UP LIKE THIS ALLOWED OR ENCOURAGED?  I never stopped (except when I was waiting for the turtles), which I imagine is the intent of a metcon workout—DON’T STOP (unless about to puke or pass out).

Finished 8 full rounds in 11.57.

Nice!

I been wanting to work on my squat form, and also been wanting to build thickness in my legs, so I modified this back squat WOD.
Make up for Back squats:  (sorry to post on the wrong topic):
135lbsx20
185lbsx15
205lbsx10
225lbsx5

Still a fair push for me…Saving some juice for todays WOD: thrusters, HPC, SDHP…Will post again later….

Out.
