Walking lunges, burpees 21 January 2009
Five rounds for time of:
20 pound barbell Overhead walking lunges, 50 feet
21 Burpees
Time: 12 min. something
Should have used heavier weight, but for some reason I was thinking it was one arm at a time at first.

CFT
Running a bit behind….
Back squat 275
Shoulder Press 125
Deadlift 315 (PR!)
CFT = 715lbs
Great improvement over last time. I finally made my goal of 300lb deadlift. Now I just have to get the 300lb squat.

No GHD today…Used the Core big ball for this WOD.
5 RFT:
30 Core-Ball Sit ups (made sure to get below parallel each rep)
25 Back Extensions (could not go to a full 90 degrees downwards, but raised my back from the ground to 45 degrees above parallel each rep)
Completed in: 11:53
Got Kenpo class tonight where I am sure to do more sit ups and push ups during my warm up.
Peace.

Buttercups:
Three rounds for time of:
5 Glute-ham sit-ups (to parallel)
10 Back extensions
Time: 3:06
1st workout in years, honestly. In trying to do CFWU discovered I cannot do even a chair dip, and push ups on my knees are hard as well. Didn’t even attempt pull ups.

No GHD - flat bench and rack
I was going to try the big rubber ball in white trash tradition but found the bench was higher and gave a greater ROM.
