Infrequent poster here trying again. Currently deployed and going to try to keep posting. System is starting to adjust to altitude and poor air quality here. On the plus, time to workout and plenty of fresh fruit & veggies.
Have you ever considered making a pair yourself? There’s some good directions on how to do so at http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=12572.
I tried myself and am pretty happy with the result. Took me about 3 hours of “mental preparation”, but in the end it was easy as pie, 30 mins and your rings are ready. Good luck.
I went to the gym planning to do Kelly but I decided to do the CFT instead because I missed it when it was posted. This was my first time attempting a 1RM on any of these lifts so now a have a baseline for future reference.
Back Squat: 60, 70, 80kg (176)
Shoulder Press: 40, 42.5kg (f) (88)
Dead lift: 60, 80, 90kg (198)

BTW, great time, as always!
I have a suspicion that MrK could take a 1” steel bar and bend it into a circle with his bare hands.
Run 400m
15 box jumps (used the second step to the assisted pullup machine here, which I haven’t measured but looks to be about two feet high - it stands a little above my knees, anyway)
15 Dumbbell thrusters w/ 15# DBs
24:47. Awful. That could be due to me trying to sprint the 400’s, but if I didn’t, I don’t know how I could call it “for time”...
It is my first workout after buying a food scale and starting the Zone with paleo-only food over the weekend, though. Just gotta get through this first week or two…

Hahaha well that would be a lot easier than making some pvc ones. Lol
One of my buddies on this blog “Ham-bone” works out at the same Gym I do and is probably getting some rings. I told him I’d go in half on the cost. So we might have our chance at some muscle ups soon! Def looking forward to trying them!!!
