“Cindy” w/ pack scaling, sort of.

AMRAP in 20: 3 pull ups/6 push ups/9 squats

Didn’t have access to a pull up bar this morning, subbed 5 pull ups with heels on ground in front of me.  I think I still met the ‘spirit’ of Cindy going this route!

16 full rounds in 19:26

Row, SDHP, Pull Up

Puppies
AMRAP 15 minutes
200M sprint
SDHP, 45#, x15
Pullups x10, 25# assist (35# on last round)

3 rounds

Rhetorical question for Gard Dawg: How come those light little SDHP’s so totally fry my arms for the pullups?

Just had time for a quick one today:

Tabata My Garage
abmat
pushups
squat
KB swing (1 pd)

Didn’t keep score.  Pushups were the usual weak link, but a little better than usual.

I’ll be doing Saturday’s WOD.  I only have a gravitron machine for pullups.  Can you kip on these?  I’ve actually only done pullups deadhang. When I was in USMC bootcamp they taught kipping, but since I could already max out the physical fitness test deadhang, I never bothered to learn. I did 32 deadhang pullups on my final PFT (max was 20).  After I was in a year and a half, they disallowed kipping.  PFT scores fell in a hurry.  So should I try and kip (I don’t think I’ll be able to) or scale the pullups (either fewer or use assist), or just do them deadhang (which is what I was planning to do)?  I can no longer approach 20, let alone 32, DH pullups.
