These days there’s dudes gettin’ facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you can’t grip a tackle box.

Yeah, with all of these men linein’ up to get neutered it’s hip now to be feminized. I don’t highlight my hair, I’ve still
got a pair. Yeah, honey I’m still a guy.

Oh my eyebrows ain’t plucked there’s a gun in my truck. Oh thank god, I’m still a guy.

Wednesday—Active rest: rock climbing

Thursday—7 x 1 split jerk

w/u: medicine ball Burgener warmup (clean style), 5 x 40 kg jerks (split and push), 3 x 50 kg (mix), 1 x 55 (split)

w/o: SJ: 1 x 60 kg, 1 x 61 kg (F), 1 x 61 kg, 1 x 62 kg, 1 x 63 kg, 1 x 64 kg, 1 x 65 kg, 1 x 66 kg PR, old PR = 60 kg

Need some serious technique work here: these wouldn’t be competition legal because I’m pressing out at the top, need more speed under the bar. Still, got lockout overhead and a 6 kg PR isn’t bad.

Push Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

135, 155, 185 iffy, 185 iffy, 165, 165 iffy, 165, 135x5

Today I must have left my mojo at home. I just could not find the power to finish strong and solid. The iffy’s went up and locked out but they were a struggle and very shakey. Matched my PR of 185. Really was hoping for a new PR.
