1000 meter row
45 pound Thruster, 50 reps

Post time to comments.

Please hold questions and comments until Garddawg or BlueBugofJustice post the scaling, which usually includes links to exercise videos, common substitutions and other helpful information.
The mainpage of CrossFit directs new people here for help getting started.  CF can be confusing enough for a newbie, we want to make it as easy as possible for them.  We ask you to be courteous and thoughtful of the newbies.  If they show up here for the first time and have to wade through 5-10 posts before we have a chance to scale for them, it can make it more difficult.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

These days there’s dudes gettin’ facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you can’t grip a tackle box.

Yeah, with all of these men linein’ up to get neutered it’s hip now to be feminized. I don’t highlight my hair, I’ve still
got a pair. Yeah, honey I’m still a guy.

Oh my eyebrows ain’t plucked there’s a gun in my truck. Oh thank god, I’m still a guy.

If you don’t have a rower substitute sumo-dealift high pulls (sdhp) with 45 pounds for men and 30 pounds for women. Take the bar from mid shin to under your chin—“shin to chin.”
2K row = 200 sdhp’s, 1K row = 100 sdhp’s, 500 meter row = 50 sdhp’s

Gonna try to fit this in before I head to NC in a couple hours.

Looks a lil easy, but the hard ones always do!

I really liked this one! Did this on 2 hrs of sleep. I wouldn’t recomend tryin this after eatining a ton of Outback and drinlkin’ a few too many beers! A combo of that and my lack of rest made me feel pukie comin on, but luckily it subsided! Wooohoooo!

Again, the WOD format yesterday is strange for me with my limited knowledge and what I’m sure is terrible form but nonetheless I did the Burgener W/U then:
C&J @ 50# 2x
then:
C&J @ 80#, 90#, 90#, 100#, 100#, 110#, 115#
I might buy a video recorder because I have no hope in finding a partner where I live (farmland in WISCONSIN) and use it to criticize technique.
Anyhow, on to today:
W/U:
SAMSON Stretch
Burgener
9 Pushups
8 Dips
5 min active rest (walking, arm cirlces, very lite, etc)
then:
SDHP 100x @ 45 lbs
Thruster 50x @ 30 lbs
Pullup 30x (11 strict, 19 jumping/pure negative)
TIME: 14:24
Yummy.
