Yesterday’s WOD: Push Jerk
45# x4
55#
60# (FAIL- Was too overzealous, bar flew out of my right hand and almost into the mirror, lost balance and almost fell over. Decided that I would just work on form and lower weight.)
55#
55#
55#
Also did 8 UNASISSTED pull-ups! Riped my hand up good, but I’m totally starting to get a hang of them. Today’s WOD should help too.
With dips, I’m having a problem with pinching a nerve in my wrist. It’s ungodly uncomfortable, and I had to eliminate them from my warmup yesterday. I think I’m torking my wrists too much. I’m going to give it a day or two and try again. The tingling and pain in my fingers lasted all night last night.

Incline bench press
Warmed up with 45lb bar and then 135lb x 8
Then 185 x 5
205 x 5
225 only got 2 and failed on number 3.
then
15-12-9 of
115lb Push jerk
pullups
double unders
Time: 12:14
the pullups were definitely the easiest part. I probably should have increased the number of them. The double unders were hard at the end because shoulders were really tired from the push jerks and pullups so had trouble controlling the rope.

As far as I can tell it just means hanging from the bar for as long as you can. I would think that would mean at arms length, not with the chest to the bar.
