Hand Stand Press Ups (I scaled this to feet anchored at 1 m height)

Time: 15.16.

Question? Recently overhand kips have agrivated my shoulder , so I started doing under hand kips that feel better and allow my shoulder some active recovery . My question is do many people do under hand kips ?

Are there any videos or tutorials on the dip modifications suggested in yesterday’s puppy scale WOD (bar, bench or chair dips)?

CFWU

Front Squat
97#, 107# (PR), 107#, 112# (PR), 112#

I don’t have a rack, so the constraint was more the clean and jerk than the squat themselves. The worse part was receiving the weight and the wrists on the rack position. Need to work on that.

I don’t know about many, but I know that one of our big dogs at my affiliate does a mixed grip (one over one under) and I’ve seen Greg Amundsen rip out 100 in three minutes using an underhanded grip and kip so if it’s good enough for Super Greg, go for it.

ok, well, hello all.  I ‘did’ yesterday. I am very new to all this and for a 40 year old, not athletic, 80 pounds overweight… well, I just wanted to get through.  I didn’t time myself, but I didn’t die. (buttercup scale, obviously!)  lol   You are all very inspirational and I think crossfit really has something to offer.  I have lost 20 pounds in the last 2 months working on crossfit skills.  Someday I will be able to do the wod rx. smile  Just wanted to say hello.

Front Squats 3-3-3-3-3 reps

65#-85#-85#-85#-95#

Been nursing a sore back from pushing harder than I should. I skipped a few WOD’s and did a lot of stretching for a few days. My back felt better this morning so I tried the squats, keeping the weight low and concentrating on form.
