These days there’s dudes gettin’ facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you can’t grip a tackle box.
Yeah, with all of these men linein’ up to get neutered it’s hip now to be feminized. I don’t highlight my hair, I’ve still
got a pair. Yeah, honey I’m still a guy.
Oh my eyebrows ain’t plucked there’s a gun in my truck. Oh thank god, I’m still a guy.

The first time I did this WOD was on my 2nd day of CrossFit when I did it in 20:16. Today, I did it in 16:20. I am not that happy with my time, but considering when I was doing my 200m runs there was a festival going on down the street and I had to dodge old greek grandmothers with strollers and idiots in cars trying to find somewhere to park it isn’t too bad.

Decided to Run today instead of yesterday:
Warm up: Jump rope, various Pose Drills (COS, Pony, Foot Tap, Stance) and some light stretching in between.
Run 5k: 26:28. Nothing impressive, but felt good form until about the 2.5 mile point when it started to break down a little and I had to really concentrate. Considered breaking for reinforcement via drills (Pose really recommends Fartleks instead of continuous distance to reinforce technique, and this fits the CF hard and fast philosophy well too), but I wanted to see where I would finish. For the first of any significant distance since the weather brioke, it was ok.
Cooldown: walk the dog (yeah, that little guy to the left)

I just finished reading one of the articles on Cross Fit Journal http://library.crossfit.com/premium/pdf/CFJ_Amundson_GoodHousekeeping.pdf
I wish I read it before I started today - I like the counting methods and active rest. Maybe I would have finished today’s workout. Next time!

I love crossfit, but not having access to a Crossfit gym, some of these WODs are tough to do becasue of access to equipment…so since the minute I get up form the rowing machine someone is going to take it…should I do, row-burpee-row? liek 500-21-500? Thanks!
