Three rounds for time:
Run 400 meters
1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing)
12 Pull-ups

Post time to comments.

Please hold questions and comments until Garddawg or BlueBugofJustice post the scaling, which usually includes links to exercise videos, common substitutions and other helpful information.

The mainpage of CrossFit directs new people here for help getting started.  CF can be confusing enough for a newbie, we want to make it as easy as possible for them.  We ask you to be courteous and thoughtful of the newbies.  If they show up here for the first time and have to wade through 5-10 posts before we have a chance to scale for them, it can make it more difficult.

These days there’s dudes gettin’ facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you can’t grip a tackle box.

Yeah, with all of these men linein’ up to get neutered it’s hip now to be feminized. I don’t highlight my hair, I’ve still
got a pair. Yeah, honey I’m still a guy.

Oh my eyebrows ain’t plucked there’s a gun in my truck. Oh thank god, I’m still a guy.

Just a quick question, is the Underdog T-Shirt thing still going on?  I don’t know if I’ll beat any of them soon or anything, it just adds WAY more motivation if I know there’s a BX T-shirt involved grin

Wow. What a griptastic nightmare!

I could not have said that better myself!

I was unable to complete the entire workout at 95#.  After the second set I lowered the weight to 75#.  I was unable to grip the heavier weight anymore.  On a positive note, other than the grip, the reps were flowing good.

Rest day for me. Thought I would make up for my less than complete effort on Monday with the row/burpee/run disaster and do a little self-imposed/created metcon:

15 min AMRAP
Row 500
Active rest (2:30 pace) as long as it took to complete previous 500m

completed 5 rounds and change (about 73m) total distance 3246m.

This sucked, but hit the right idea I think. Have a great day!

“Helen” Modified

Three rounds for time:
Run 0.25 on treadmill (8.0 mph)
21 swings 55 pound dumbbell swing (all unbroken)
12 Pull-ups (broken)

13:55 +/- hit the wrong button on my watch at the end.

I’m losing :15 to :20 each trip from the treadmill to the pullup bar. I am unsure if this is a curse or a blessing. I’m thinking both.

When you’re young, you look at television and think, There’s a conspiracy. The networks have conspired to dumb us down. But when you get a little older, you realize that’s not true. The networks are in business to give people exactly what they want. That’s a far more depressing thought. Conspiracy is optimistic! You can shoot the bastards! We can have a revolution! But the networks are really in business to give people what they want. It’s the truth.
