For time:
One of the Hardest Challange’s ive done yet was Hanging out during the Berpee Phase and got ready to puke into my towel but managed to keep it down.
50 Box jump, 24 inch box (22 inch box)
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood (35lb dumbell)
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball (All I had was a 12lb ball)
50 Burpees
50 jump tucks
Instead of the CFWU I did a bunch of joint mobilization exercises.
I had to make a few subs due to lack of equipment
Pack:
For time:
35 Box jumps, 20 inch box: 2:18.54 (I forgot to hit the lap button until after the first few pull-ups)
35 Jumping pull-ups: 1:11.26
35 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood: 2:54.98
Walking Lunge, 35 steps: 1:30.17
35 Ab-Mat Sit-ups: 1:06.68
35 Push press, 1 pood KB: 1:30.55
35 Good Morning Exercises: (forgot to hit lap button, time combined with thrusters)
35 1 Pood KB Thrusters: 3:00.10
35 Burpees: 4:15.02
35 Standard Jump Rope Jumps: 44.99
Total: 18:32.29
As you can see, the burpees killed me, but everything else was probably scaled about right. My 20” box jumps went really well and this is the first time I got to use my newly built and painted 20” plyo boxes in a WOD!
The jump rope is coming along, I still can’t do double unders, but I only missed one jump on those 35.
As much as I am looking forward to this workout
My body is saying rest so I will follow my body’s orders
Funny thing is most people look forward to Friday as the weekend is near
This week I am looking forward to Friday because I get to do the filthy twenty-five…
For time:
25 Box jump, 20 inch box
25 Jumping pull-ups
25 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 25 steps
25 Ab-Mat Sit-ups
25 Push press, 45#
25 Good-mornings 45#
25 Wall ball shots, 20# ball (just about lost my breakfast around number 15)
25 Burpees, not all the way down in push-up
25 Standard Jump Rope Jumps
14:11
Had to take tums after this one…..That is a first….This happen to anyone else?????
LaLanne AM
part of the w/u was a 400M “buddy carry”. I got the better end of the deal: I’m 215 and my partner is 185!
WOD PJ 3-3-3
125-145-145(F on 3rd)
Good coaching-coach Jenny caught a significant fault. I am not locking my arms and not dipping low enough, thus I have to press the last few inches to lock out-too hard to do at high weight. Need to work on arm lock out.
Finisher: Double Tabata (16 rounds total)
Burpees: 46 (tried GDs suggestion of landing my feet inside my arms. worked well.)
Jumping pull ups: 154
so i made the mistake with the WoD where you do 100 pushups pull ups squats and sit ups by doing them in order(100 pushups straight - then 100 sit ups straight etc etc etc) Then i found out the far better method to get the results the work out was designed for was to break it up.
what is the trick for filthy fifty? just do them in order? that is 50 box jumps before moving to 50 jumping pull ups?
Scaled to puppies as I had to fit this in during lunch
