Our WOD today was :

50 double unders

5 rounds :
7 - squat cleans
10 - pull-ups
30 - push-ups

50 double unders

For a squat cleans I was working with 40kg/88#

time: 23:53min
... Today I was deciding what would have to be the WOD , and yesterday too ...and the others was not verry happy with that LOL ...everyone is already too tired after this week , it was a lot of work ...including our judo session every afternoon .

“Tabata Something Else”

Pullups 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 3, 4, 3 = 41
Pushups 11, 11, 7, 7, 6, 5, 5, 5 = 57
Situps 10, 10, 10, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8 = 72
Squats 11, 10, 10, 10, 8, 10, 10, 13 = 82

total = 252

Advice. Download a tabata chime or song into your ipod if you are going to do this by yourself. I have a Rocky themed tabata that really get’s you into it. I will try and post a link if I can find one.

I should have probably paced myself better during the pullsups and pushups. Maybe straight sets of 6 on the pullups and straight sets of 8 on the pushups. Next time.

Tabata Something Else
Pull-ups-5-5-5-5-4-3-3-3=33
Push-ups-13-13-13-10-10-9-6-7=81
Sit-ups-10-10-12-12-12-11-11-12=90
Squats-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-7=77

Total=281 I’m happy with this score.
My last score was 285 but I counted everything under the sun. This time if it wasn’t done correctly, then it didn’t count. If my chest didn’t touch the ground or if I didn’t go low enough on the squat or if my chin didn’t go over the bar, then it didn’t count. My pull-ups sucked today for some reason. I should have been able to crank out at least 6-8 per set but I felt weak.

Wow. Thanks for the Tabatas link! It’s just what I needed. I downloaded the Fort minor one. And this is for exactly 32 intervals right? The timing seems jsut about right. Thanks!

“Tabata Something Else”

Pullups 6,6,6,6,4,4,4,4 = 40 (Much kipping and struggling…)
Pushups 16,18,16,12,10,8,8,8 = 96
Situps 10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10 = 80
Squats 12,14,12,14,12,12,12,12 = 100

total = 316

Didn’t feel that great when getting up (a bit woozy and wondering if I was coming down with something) so I was actually pleased that I had decent numbers (for me) and that I felt better as I went along.

cfsb intro, week 6, day 5 AM.

Front Squat
5x195,5x215,5x225(PR)

Back Squat
20x195 (PR)

Today’s 1100 MetCon is ‘Hazel.’ Not sure if swings are going to be forehead or all the way overhead. either way, it’ll be a PR since we’ve never danced before.  Another triple PR friday.

edit. should have been 225, not 235

Tabata Something Else, as Rx’d

PullUps 43 (13/10/5/4/3/3/2/3)  all but first 6 were jumping
PushUps 86 (22/20/10/9/6/7/6/6)
SitUps   79 (12/11/11/10/9/9/9/8)
Squats 100 (15/13/12/12/12/12/12/12)

Total 308

My pull-ups are weak, but I’m looking forward to working on that.  Everything else felt great, especially for my second CF workout ever.  When sweat started dripping off my nose during the push-ups, I got psyched.  cool smirk  I can tell I’m gonna LOVE this type of workout…

get some.
