Know how to do a burpee?  Just skip the pushup: squat, put hands on ground jump to plank (pushup start position), then jump back to squat, jump, clap. wink

Today at Brand X the buy in was back squats.  Ooooh..that is good because I am trying to follow the CFSB protocol and today would be back squats.

The bummer was we ran out of time before I could get my last one in so..I only got to 135#.  Would have liked 145#.  Next time…...

The WOD was 21-15-9 of db clean and pull ups.  I used 30# for the 1st 21.  I changed it to 25# for the 15-9. I was losing the metabolic component by standing and looking at the dumbbells too long.
It still took me 15 minutes and I believe some of my pull ups were a little suspect.

On Saturday I did the press and got to 80# by 5.  I believe that is a PR for me.  CFSB works!

“Front Squats”

I did a 5x5 instead of the triples.

155, 175, 185, 195, 185 ***all the way down

Few sets of leg curls followed by 50 intervals of jump rope (20 sec on : 10 sec off).  Every interval had a atleast 1 DU.

WU -

35-40 minutes Stretching and Yoga

WOD -

Front Squat
3-3-3-3-3-3-3

135 - 155 - 185 - 205 - 225 - 235 - 240(PR) [+15#]

Cool Down -

Diesel Crew Shoulder Work + Ice

I played one to many games of racquetball on Saturday and my shoulders are still fried.  Lots of Ice for the rest of the day… Front Squat form was much better, I don’t think my last PR or attempts were very legit, these ones were.

Oops!  Clearly I was too bleary eyed to see that the WOD says Front Squats not Deadlifts.  If this is what my day is going to be like then I might as well go back to bed!

Oh well, I did some deadlift work today.
