Just go to wal-mart and get their black jump ropes.

I think advice works for everyone under 6’.  I found the store bought ropes were too short.

Question, i’m not sure of the proper term, but for the lifting station landing deck, what type of material or wood does that have to be? i purchased some 3/8 thick rubber flooring to go around the deck.

Exterior 1/2” to 3/4” Plywood.

Big D’s instructions to me on how to build a platform.  Have not had the opportunity to do it yet, but it’s going to happen soon.

4 - 4x8 sheets of plywood cdx exterior (go cheap here)
1 - 4x8 sheet of ab plywood. Spend a little more money on this piece, as this will show.
2 - 4x6 Rubber horse stall matting

No wood cutting necessary. That’s nice

Take the four pieces of wood and lay two of them side to side long ways. Then lay the other two side to side long ways. Now you have an 8x8 square. Screw these together. At this point it is very heavy, so I would recommend building in place.

Now take the rubber matts and cut them half. Take the 2x6 pieces and lay on both sides. Now cut the second rubber matt and fill in the 2x2 square.

Now you have a 4x8 space in the middle. Lay the nice sheet of plywood in this area and secure with screws.

That’s it.
