So to the regulars here, how do we get more of our people active on the forum.  A couple of thoughts.  The people who are here all the time probably don’t need as much exposure to the topics we talk about.  It’s the people who never visit the forum who need to hear some of the things we are saying.  Secondly, We really need to get the kids CrossFit section going.  How can we get the kids and their parents to post about the workouts.

How about putting up a giant poster with forum topics and conversations. Hang it at BX. Could be kinda fun with all the cool names and topics on it.

running late this morning…Kodiak’s idea is good. You’d need to copy some of the topics and post it on the ring stand by restrooms. Almost everyone stands there and looks into the classes at one point or another. smile

Perhaps an intro flyer you hand out to the parents who bring their kids to the classes. “here is what we do on line and here are some of the topics. News of the school is posted on line so you get the information in a timely manner. Share your experiences with other parents.”

The mailing list could also be used to send topic teasers if people check their email.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

you could also make “homework” assignments for the younger kids in the kids classes.

Yeah, Happy Hands is on to something!

Kids who post responses in their assignments get a treat or a sticker?
