Sunday 090517
Four rounds for time of:
100 ft Walking lunge, carrying 30 pound dumbbells
24 inch Box Jump, 30 reps
30 pound Weighted pull-ups, 20 reps

Post time to comments.

Please hold questions and comments until Garddawg or BlueBugofJustice post the scaling, which usually includes links to exercise videos, common substitutions and other helpful information.
The mainpage of CrossFit directs new people here for help getting started.  CF can be confusing enough for a newbie, we want to make it as easy as possible for them.  We ask you to be courteous and thoughtful of the newbies.  If they show up here for the first time and have to wade through 5-10 posts before we have a chance to scale for them, it can make it more difficult.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

Brown liquor . . . but I think the answer is “stretching”.

In a metcon workout, for someone who isn’t supposed to push it with his arms for another few weeks, what do you suggest instead of the weighted pull-ups?

On Sunday the 17th, Did:

Hill Run x20

21:43

I’m sorry this one isn’t more empirical for the rest of you, I’m kinda just comparing myself to last time.  I’ve never done 20 before, but my split for 10 was 9:25, 30 seconds faster my 10x PR.  Pumped about that, but I kinda fell off in the second half, since I was hoping to get it all done in 20 min.

W/U
30x10# db swings
10 lunges
5 box jumps 24"ish
5 pull-ups

WO
4 rds for time of
100’ walking lunges 20#
20 24"ish box jumps
10 20# pull-ups
TT 16:35

I was smoked going into rd 3. Lunges were getting sloppy so I slowed down and got form back. Then I went home and the wife helped me with my handstands. So close to getting up on the wall and maintaining it. Once up, I’ll stack up books to work on my hspu.

Running a day behind. Was at a District Track meet all day yesterday, but it was worth it. Our kids competed with great intensity and honor…and OUR GIRLS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS!!

“Diane”

21-15-9 reps of:
225 pound Deadlift
Handstand push-ups

Time: 4:44

Did all DL’s unbroken and first set of HSPU’s unbroken. Second set of HSPUs were 10-5, and last set was 5-4.

Was hoping to be under 4:30…maybe next time.

Hoping to come back in later this evening to do today’s.
