Newbie still working the Buttercups.

If there is no scaling listed for the BC’s, I assume I use the Pup’s WOD?

Yes

Four rounds for time of:
100 ft Walking lunge, carrying 30 pound dumbbells
24 inch Box Jump, 30 reps
30 pound Weighted pull-ups, 20 reps

Was unable to do the pull-ups with 30 lb weight, but completed the whole workout in 38:23, and was dead afterward.

Competing for the GD cup “least words posted” award? Could be in with a shot now that GD’s writing essays.

LOL  Exactly! Someone has to fill the role. And since I can be known for writing essays wink , it seems an equitable swap.

Time to sneak in a few times from last week…
090506       PJerk 1x7: warm-up and warm-up sets 45x10, 65x5, 75x5, 85x3, 95, 95, 100press, 100press, 95, 100press, 100press, 95, 85x3
I can’t quite lock-out 100 pounds without pressing it.  Almost there!
090507,08 rest and moderate gardening
090509     Grace 75# 6:31 hang p clean.  Not happy with effort, so did Tabata HPC&J with #65, 31 reps in 4 mins
Tabata DL with 185, 20 reps
090510     800 m x 4 4:06 3:56 4:03   felt dead 400 m 2:19
090511     Back Squats 125x5 135x2 125x5 115x5 85x5 85x5 85x5
Terrible form and missed what should have been an easy weight, so I went lighter and worked on the basics

Squat 175x3 195x3 205x3 205x2

Packish, truncated due to time constraints:
Three rounds of:
100ft walking lunges with 15# DBs
20” box jumps, 20 reps
12 pullups
8:07, 6:48, 5:20 Total 20:16
My times got faster each round, I think I got so winded during the first round that I thought I would have to slow down in order to proceed.  Turns out if I just powered through I was fine.  Getting better at performing with a heart rate of 170 and breathing 50 times a minute!
