Canadian Army Master Corporal Erin Doyle, 32, was killed in a firefight August 11th, 2008 in the Panjwaii District, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife Nicole and his daughter Zarine.

What if I don’t have dumbbells? I workout in my garage and we so rarely use dumbbells I never bothered buying any.

No dumbbells :-(

Would a sensible sub be Barbell squat /Power clean 95lbs ( 2 * DB’s 40lbs + 15lbs) ?

There’s an old guy in the gym who is incredibly talkative, with all sorts of stupid and irrelevant questions, and since I politely asked him a couple of weeks ago to hold his questions until I’m through with my WOD, he’s become apparently unfriendly. So today he occupied the only bar I could have used for beginner pull-ups and would not let me share it with him. I had to find another way of getting the WOD done, so I subbed jumping pull-ups for the beginner ones. These were rather unpleasant because I had to hold onto something very high above my head.

TIME - 24:04 (rounds finished at 6:09, 15:02 and 24:04…with cleans in sets of 5 and pull-ups broken all over the place)

My grip started leaving me after the first round, still not fully back from the pull-up/dip WOD…I’m starting to get the kip up on pull-ups, but can’t get the push off into the next swing, so I was working that issue with this workout.  Not a very fast time, but still a smoker, as always.

word of caution, Hotel venito in panama city will freak out if you don’t tell them what you are doing. Once I got a translator they were cool but once I threw my legs up for a handstand push up. THey freaked out. kinda funny.
