Buy In:
3 Rnds: Sit-ups, Back Extensions, BW Overhead Sqts

WOD:

225, 245, 265, 275 (bad form:flat back), 245 (bad form), 225, 225

I’m trying to work on my form so my numbers are low. As the weight increases I’m not able to move the “bar” by my initial leg movement and instead my back “flattens” and I move the bar with my back - I don’t want to do that!!!

Deadlifts, 7x1

CFWUx3 15 reps except pullups (deadhang 4,3,2,2,2)

Deadlifts: 225,245,265,275,295f,285f,280f

Not sure I am doing the weight right.  I am pushing with my legs and feeling the workout in the back of my legs and not in my back, is that right?

Deadlifts

Warm up Jump Rope (50 singles and then work on Double Under, singles, then Double under without stopping) No consecutive DU, yet.

6x135 DL

225, 275, 295, 306*, 311*, 315*, 320F, 320*

Used Double Over hand up to the failure and then added hook grip for the 320. The hook grip works cause all you can think about is that the sooner you lift it up the sooner you can look for your thumbs on the floor.

Previous PR was 302 on 5/24.

Oh, BTW, my body weight this am was 160.0   cool smile

Good day in the Shark Garage.

At home, no equipment:

3 small tabatas:
6 cycles of Pushups, Situps, Squats
PU: 19-16-10-6-7-3
SU: 10-10-9-9-8-8
SQ: 17-17-15-14-14-14

Felt like I finally got the intensity high enough for a workout like this.  Pushups started failing in set three.  Felt pretty queazy for about 15 minutes.

6/4:
Squats 185x5, 200x5x2, 200x3, 200x4
Fran 75lbs 11:06 <—- so sick, my pullup bar at the gym is covered in rubber that rotates on the bar, makes it hard to grip it and rip it.

6/5:
(Sub for 30 MUs)
10 rounds:
12 pullups
6 ring dips
32:46
Got my first callous rip half way through, hurt like hell.  Should have just done 4 ring dips per round to keep the power output up.  Actually, I should probably just stick to bar dips until I get strong enough for the rings.

Skipped, became inadvertant rest day.  Wanted to get it in, but work and family sched didn’t allow.  Still a newbie so a little extra rest right now is probably good.
