Rest Day on http://CrossFit.com

Skill Day on http://CrossFitKids.com

The mainpage of CrossFit directs new people here for help getting started.  CF can be confusing enough for a newbie, we want to make it as easy as possible for them.  We ask you to be courteous and thoughtful of the newbies.

CFWU

5 x 5 OH squats
35 40 45 45 45

I know these are pretty light weights, but I am finally getting comfortable with the exercise.  Practice every day in CFWU with my kayak paddle helps!

I’m not even gonna move a toe voluntarily. This rest day is better than sex. I hope my body recovers by tomorrow. I got 4 spots on left hand torn and 2 spots on the right. I can see couple of spots starting to bubble. Loving every minute of it!

He was just a man doing a job.  A job whose primary attribute was self-restraint and self-composure, not for his own sake, but for those whom he lead by example.  A job whose objective could be boiled down to the single understatement, as he did at the Hot Gates on the morning he died, of performing the commonplace under uncommonplace conditions.

Deadlift Warmed up with 45lb, then 135, then 225
1-1-1
315-335-355

Then
Lynne
5 rounds
Max benchpress, 185lb (BW +15lb)
Max pullups

BP: 16, 10, 7, 7, 6 = 46 reps total
PU: 14, 12, 11, 12, 10 = 59 reps total

Rested around 5 minutes between rounds.  Benchpress was scary with no spotter so with a spotter I probably could have forced out a few more reps on the earlier sets.  The 4th round I failed on my 8th rep of the bench but luckily I had put up the long catch bars so I was able to roll it down to my stomach and then situp and get out from under it.  Atleast it gives you extra motivation to get the bar up.  grin

Also, biked in to work today and will have to bike home also because my car still isn’t fixed yet.  :(
