5 rounds:

7 power snatch @ 85lbs
14 pushups

16:05

The snatches were weird so it was REALLY hard to get them going.  But the second I remembered “Big Chest!” and to GET UNDER THE BAR funny how things got better with some technique other than pull this stuff up and kinda swing it overhead . . .

P.S.

Penty showed up (we’re letting him crash for the Gymnastics cert) and I was gonna offer him a Hobo workout but he had already done one over at Cfit Rockwall.  And my garage is not pleasant to just sit around in while someone does a stupid wod.

looks like a fun wod..

I thought you had a couch in your garage gym.  That seems like a good place for a heckler to sit while he/she points and laughs… (or provides coaching cues)

Wod wasn’t bad.  I cfsb’d it so it wasn’t a long grind.  As rx’d it’s 95lbs and 7 rounds.  In hindsite, the 10lbs wouldn’t have made much if any difference.  And I wasn’t thinking straight because if I was doing fewer rounds I usually keep the weight the same.  Lowering both was stupid.

There was a couch.  It was removed by executive decision.  I could have the gym, but not the space the couch would take up . . . go figure.

There is a chair though.  He’d just worked out at Cfit Rockwall though and though ac was the better part of valor . . .

Now that wasn’t so bad, was it????  Good job on completing Nancy.  I would like it better if we cut out all that running!

I also like the looks you get from everyone when you put the treadmill on nearly maximum speed to run 400m. everyone thinks you are going to fall and get thrown into the wall behind the treadmill :D

OH—-So right.  I adore those looks.  bigsmile

No, it’s the looks when you make noise like “eeeeh, eeeeiiiieh” while running on the treadmill . . .
