Use the gravitron, but have a plan. You can still use the machine. On occasion do ring rows/smith machine rows. Keep working at getting the pullup.
TP
Okay. I’ve been lowering the resistance, so I think I’m on the right track. I also keep trying on the regular pull-up bar to get even one. Not there yet.
death by pullup
i got to 7 without jumping pullups then
i went up to 10 with kipping and jumping combined
then i went back down to 1 with kipping and jumping combined
so 20 minutes total
Are you guys recovered from Linda? I couldn’t get up this morning! My lower back is killing me. I’m waiting till later today to do the pullups but damn, Linda messed me up! That should be a WOD before the rest day.
Totally. Yesterday was our first date. She is a cruel mistress indeed.
But I miss her already….
It’s weird that I’m comforted by the fact that others are in pain too.
Death by pullups, 11 rounds exactly on the start of next minute. That is 66 pullups in 11 minutes, feels good for me And enough, the last two rounds were severely broken, made like 3 or 2 in a row and little bit rest and 2 more, and with the last pullup I nearly fell of the bar :D
And I remembered to do this WOD over broken glass and rusty nails :D

I’m with you. I think it help rationalize that we are all mortal, and that the suffering in our own lives being mirrored through others validates our existence and our connection to the universe. The interconnectedness of all things brings us a spirit of togetherness, a common thread, a way to see we are all truly one, a collective soul, if you will, with shared history, present and future, all leading to a spiritual awakening only dreamed of by philosophers and poets across time as they struggle to come to grips with the enormity of the cosmos.
Or maybe it’s just that misery loves company. Either way.
