Are the situps, ordinary situps or GHDsitups? (I thought about when a WOD says pullups it means kipping pullups, and when it says situps is the standard GHDsitups?)

I can also ask… When I do situps i get a little swelling right above my navel (the size of a quarter) and if I press it I feel that it’s filled with liquid… What is that? It begun after one intense WOD including GHDsitups one month ago, could it be some kind of rhabado?

I think it’s just normal sit-ups.  GHSU are usually labeled as such because they are much more intense.

Did FGB today with some co-workers who weren’t convinced that you could get a solid workout in 17 minutes.

Here are my results:

Wall Balls (12 lbs ball): 35, 20, 20 = 75
SDHP: 20, 13, 10 = 43
Box Jumps (12” stool): 40, 40, 37 = 117
Push Press (70 lbs): 10, 10, 10 = 30
Row: 11, 12, 14 = 37

Total: 302.

Ryan on pack. Had to sub MU’s for 15 pull ups and dips. 24.53
After round 2 i gave up hope to finish within 20 minutes and set my goal within 25.
Also during round 3 i finally got my kips going! Finished of the rest of the rounds doing kipping pull ups. Very happy.

Now off to a late shift…............................

Dranziel, I wonder if this might be a small hernia— A hernia is a protrusion of a tissue, structure, or part of an organ through the muscle tissue or the membrane by which it is normally contained.  You should get this checked by your doctor just to be sure.

Pack Ryan

5 rds. for time of:

5 kneeling muscle-ups (as demonstrated in the Jeff Tucker video)
15 burpees

17:07

Muscle up sub was good, felt like I made some serious progress on the movement and did some good work too. Will raise the rings next time to make them tougher.

Well, burpees, they suck. One of my weaknesses I need to work on, especially the pushup part….
