Does anyone know when the last time was that we did this exercise?  I tried putting push press in the search but was unable to find the last one.  I was pretty sure that I had done this one before and recorded it.

I really, really, I mean REALLY hate burpees!

After four months of soul serching, I have come to understand that there is no better workout than Crossfit.

I went back through the posts, even checked the mainsite for a “compare to” even though Metric never overlooks that sort of thing, to see if they popped it in later.

I don’t see a push press on this forum in the 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 ever.

Not to say it’s not out there, but if it is, it’s likely older than the previous 01/07/07 and that was a 3-3-3-3-3-3-3.

We’ve done it with shoulder press and other things, but I’m not finding it either.

Maybe we could insult someone’s search-fu skills and get a better result . . . engineers and computer geeks are particularly easy marks.

Push Press 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps.

95-115-135-155(PR)-155(PR)-165(PR)-175(F)

I cleaned the 175, but couldn’t push press it. My previous PR was 150 so I was PUMPED about blowing it away.

Two weeks ago I switched my workouts to the morning instead of during lunch or the end of the day. While I swear I feel much more tired than working out later in the day, I can’t argue with the fact that my results have been much better. Plus I feel great the rest of the day. I haven’t even been needing my tea in the morning to get me going. At first I was worried that I would feel too weak or hungry in the morning but that hasn’t been the case. I searched around the forums regarding how other people deal with eating and morning Crossfit workouts, and most people mentioned that once you start working out, you forget about being hungry, and I’ve totally found that to be the case. I don’t follow the zone or a strictly paleo diet, but I do eat only what I get from the farmer’s market and the perimeter of the grocery store, and I’ve honestly never felt better. Hopefully some more PRs are on tap for this month!

Crossfitting in itself is something to write home about.  Keep up the form, and the weight will come.
