Had a little race with a body builder friend of mine who said he was going to “crossfit all over me”

3 rounds
15 thrusters (95#)
15 burpees
400m run

Before the workout he said it wasnt going to be a problem because he’d been running and doing “cardio” for the last month.
I gave him the option to do it with an empty bar, but he said F-that.  After the first round he stripped the weights off the bar and complained that he “wasnt used to lifting when he’s tired”

And you didn’t even embarrass him with pullups.

Posting this per Debbies orders:

DT as rxd
5 rds
12 deadlift
9 hang power clean
6 pushjerk
all at #105
17:15
Actually since I cant hang power clean #105 I power cleaned each rep from the floor. Does that give me extra credit?:)
This sucked- so happy to complete all 5 rds- last time I only did 3 rds

Wow - long time since seeing a post! hope all is well with you.

Two tweeks (kinda) worth of stuff- my first post….

Completed Tabata Something Else on 08/12- it sucked but I completed it by doing assisted PullUps

Did 3X 400 meter, 21 squats, and 11 PullUps on 08/13 (cannot remember the name of this one but it sucked) Didn’t keep time, but did it as a race with the boyfriend. That kept us moving.

8/14 at an amusement park- rest day?

Ran 3 miles with the kid to the park- good family time.

Front Squats on Sunday- real light weights (2X25#) but my form was good.

Completed Ryan on Monday. Did three sets of 7 Muscle-ups and d 21 Burpees. Burpees killed me.

Tuesday did stairs (out of town on business and had nothing to do the planned WODs) Did 5 reps of 12 flights of stairs in 30 minutes. Talk about burn.

Wednesday- again out of town. Ran 6 miles though DT San Diego and managed to get very lost. Fun. Got a nice tan though.

Thursday- Rest (travel actually)
