What are the suggestions for subbing pull-ups in todays WOD? I know it says no jumping pull-ups. Will ring rows work?
Thanks for your help!

Did Cindy last week while on vacation, and it shredded me. I had to use the top part of a swingset for my pull-ups, with a bar diameter of about 3”. It killed my forearms!
I was hoping to see a CFT today, so I did that instead:
DL: 205 / 225 (pr) / 235 (pr)
SP: 105 (fail) / 100 (tie pr) / 105 (pr)
BS: 155 / 165 (pr) / 170 (pr)
cash out:
15 dips
handstand practice: 21”, 15”, 23”

Hang power clean
1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps
I spent alot of time learning the movement as I had never done this before, using a 30lb bar.

Inertia plays a mighty role in recovery, and an object at rest on a couch can stay there for a long time.

Cindy - pack: AMRAP in 20 minutes of: 3 Pull-ups 6 Push-ups 9 Squats
22 rounds plus 3 pullups. Pullups and squats unbroken, pushups broken into 4,2 from rd 13 on.
I started CF about 6 wks ago and did Cindy for the first time 4 weeks ago. At that time 16 rounds left me on the floor in a fetal position gasping for air. What a difference a month makes. 22 rounds today and I finished feeling strong.
My biggest problem is getting started. I do my warmup and then set up my kitchen timer next to the pullup bar. The little yellow start button stares at me. I back away to take my shoes and socks off. I go back to the pullup bar. Then I decide to take everything out of my pockets. Back to the bar. Then I have to go the bathroom. Back to the bar. 6 weeks into CF and I think one of the hardest things is hitting the damn button.

Yes, ring rows are a preferred sub.

Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats
Had every intention of doing this at the pack level:
Pack:
Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
3 Pull-ups
6 Push-ups
9 Squats
...except with beginner pull ups. But on the second round of push ups, started having pain in my shoulder. Thought is best not to mess with it.
Subbed out a “death by pullup” mod of beginner pull ups and squats (1 each in first minute, 2 each in second, etc.) Got eight rounds done, but was just over time on the last squat. So 7 rounds + 8 push ups and 7 squats, I guess.

Cindy- 5-10-15
20 rounds- I did pullups- squats- then pushups. Does the order matter?
Yeah, it does. The work is the same, so if you’re moving it around it’s for personal preference. Also, having pushups come after pullups is always just wrong. So do it that way.

Just getting back here again…
Cindy scaled as Puppies:
Puppies:
Complete as many rounds in 12 minutes as you can of:
1 Pull-ups (or 3 Beginner or Assisted Pull ups)
4 Push-ups
7 Squats
Twelve rounds. As usual the Pull-ups (or three beginner PU’s in my case) were the tough part.
