Squats, push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups

Pack-Puppish

Rounds of 15-30-40

16:10

In hindsight I should have went for the straight Pack work-out but pull ups and sit-ups are still rough for me.  Even with this load I was down to doing sets of 2-3 of pull-ups on my last round but sit-ups I was still doing sets of 6 at the end.  Great and terrible work out…CrossFitters aren’t on steroids but their work-outs are!!!!!

Hi - I’m new here and I’ve been lurking about a month, reading everything with a title like “start-up”, “part 1”, “how to”, watching videos, praciticing my squat form… These xfit sites are AMAZING - great job to everyone keeping the content and quality here!!!!!

Today—I did my FIRST WOD!!!  And I did it!!!!

And you know what - these workouts feel like PLAY.  Might be the influence of watching the kids videos too :-)  (Had to figure out what a beginner pull-up was.)

Even my LEGS are shaking after this “shoulder” workout - yikes!  Huge grin tho - this is FUN!  My favorite has always been to compete against myself - this does the trick!!!

warmup: 20’ walk, 10’ joint mobility/dynamic stretching

Puppies - 10/15/20 - 17:05
—Squats
—Push-ups - wall, table, table - oops - not sure I could have made the counts w/a chair - I’ll have to try next time…
—Pull-ups - beginner w/a little kipping - I think that’s OK…
—Situps - I mocked up a GHB…  An inverted door frame pull-up bar to hold my feet while I sit on a Swiss ball—no floor to bump into on the way down was nice.  Seemed to do the trick…

Today’s workout looks brutal.  I’m glad I track a few days behind, but that just means I’ll be dining in hell on Monday or Tuesday.

You picked a hell of a workout to start.  Way to go!

I hit this hard, for me. Pull ups are the governor. I can’t imagine doing this WOD as Rx as a true metcon; hats off to the athlets who can do it.

Ascending Squats, Push-ups, Pull-ups, and Sit-ups

As Rx’d: 26:13

Pull-ups bogged me down pretty bad. Round 1 was unbroken. Round 2 was 20-10-10-10. Round 3 was 10-10-10-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5. A lot of time was wasted coming off the bar and shaking the arms out.

In hindsight I probably should have scaled the Pull-ups. Squats and Sit-ups were done unbroken. Push-ups were done unbroken in the first round. Round 2 was 35-15. Round 3 was done 25-20-15-10-5.

no pull-ups i dont have a way to do them

so minus the pull-ups i had a time of 7:16

im going to make a rack that will give me a spot for rings and a pull-up bar to the side.

Puppies scaling
for time
10, 15, 20
squats
push ups
pull ups (gravitron)
sit ups (military)

10:51

at the begining of the workout I considered scaling up, but didnt due to time constraints. I*m glad I didnt. By the second set of pull ups I had to take several short pauses/ character flaws. Out of breath the whole time, good stuff!
